I dont know what he was thinking when he went down that path
But it’s really not mine to judge

And sometimes mine is just to listen
To hold space, allow and acknowledge
Help another human feel seen, heard, important and like they matter
Because heaven knows, we don’t have that often enough in today’s world

In a world trying to speed up
Everyone has an opinion
Keyboard warriors will cut you down in an instant
Not thinking
NOT THINKING
Of the humanness on the other side of the screen
The words cut so deep
Instead of killing the power to the screen
People, HUMANS, kill the power to themselves
Either plummeting self esteem into invisibility
Or full power stop
When will it stop
All it takes is remembering there’s a human out there
Who needs the same as we do
We need love, to be seen, to feel like we matter
We do not need to be crisis workers
To work a bit of magic and share hope
Love costs nothing
Kindness costs nothing
And if you can’t do either
Than just keep your mouth shut, be quiet, and don’t add to the harm
