By any stretch of the imagination it could be done
What you dream and believe about yourself to be true
Can materialize
The imagination is such a powerful tool
Yet so often we use it against ourselves
Creating chaos and calamity
Chancing to dream
Yet undoing it all in the next breath
Courage to confidence
We get lost along the way
Our cheering squad grows quiet
And we are left alone with the moonlight
Even the moon would be dark
If it didn’t have help from the sun reflecting
We aren’t meant to do it alone
But in today’s world, so many are left alone
Snuffing out the only light we are given
Simply by not choosing to be around the right people
People who have our best interest at heart
Those who love us unconditionally from the start
In a world of conditions and hate and ulterior motives
Motivate yourself to find those who you can be your true self with
Don’t settle for fake friends to your face
Forge out space to love yourself
So when others come along
They see how it’s done
Shine your light so bright
It blinds those who aren’t willing to shine at that level too
The sky would be pretty dark with only one star
So find the others who sparkle that same light
And light up the night
For all those trying to find their way
Meant to be guided to something bigger
To something more
Together you can stretch your imaginations
And soar
