Up until then I trusted, I believed
I had faith that most people were generally good
One by one the world tried to change my mind
One by one I processed the hurt and pain and loss
And kept trusting, kept believing, kept having faith

Until one day it occurred to me
That change starts from inside
And I started trusting myself, believing in myself, having faith in myself

And from that day forward
Life was a whole different game
