Before I knew it, I was right in the thick of it
Slowly I’d moved up in the crowd
Separating myself from the usual debilitating anxiety
So I could move closer, get a better view
The music was infectious and took over my body
I moved to the rhythm of the crowd
And before I knew it I had a gate in front of me
And the stage immediately before me
Looking up I was so close
Before I knew it he was standing right in front of me singing, smiling
At me?
Tears welled up in my eyes
Incredible
I was so present and in the moment
Fear did not exist
Experiencing sound and senses to the extreme
I will remember that moment for always
Showing myself I can do scary things, and they aren’t so scary
Enjoying the music and experience
Feeling in that moment, I could do anything
