I figured it was about time to post another revamp about myself more then just my writings now that I’ve had the two sites going now! Wow! How exciting 🙂 Thank you so much for all your support! So here’s a little bio and background about me.

Currently I’m 32 years old, and living in Guleph, Ontario. I was working in the packaging industry, and had gone to school to learn to make boxes, bottles, chip bags, etc, and found it incredibly interesting. Yes, you can actually go to school for that and I am actually known to my friends affectionately still as the “box dork”.

When I’m not taking care of my pets or working, I’m off on an adventure somewhere gathering new inspiration for writing material. My little Matrix has 35,000km on it and counting!

I also love going to many writing workshops and events. Here’s a list of activities I’ve participated in, and I will continue to add to this list as it’s always growing.

• February 5, 2011: Participated in Memoir Writing workshop in London with Brian Henry
• February 2011: Poem Published in local Toronto Newsletter
• March 17, 2011: Dauntless Den of Debauchery Started!
• March 25, 2011: Submitted first piece to Magic in the Backyard
• April 1, 2011: First paycheck for writing! (always an accomplishment!)
• April 15, 2011: Participated in Women in Networking Breakfast at Microsoft Technologies in Mississauga with Gail MacKay and Cindy Miller
• May 2, 2011: Participated in weekly writing course in Georgetown with Brian Henry
• June 18, 2011: Participated in How to Write a Best Seller workshop in Mississauga with Brian Henry and Kelly Armstrong
• June 20, 2011: Read writing  to class in Georgetown, 20 people
• October 27-28, 2011: Participated in Algonkian Writer’s Conference in Niagara Falls with Michael Neff, Terry Fallis and Barbara Kyle
