Dear Mr. Spider Sir,
Your place is not here inside.
You do not pay rent.
I will not be bound by the superstition
that killing you is an omen for rain.
Because if that’s the case,
you must have lost plenty of
your little friends lately.
You are a creature of the outdoors
and had you stayed there
you’d still be alive as I write this tale.
